After a rigorous selection process in Tuesday’s semi-finals, ten companies have advanced to the Startup World Cup final, set to take place in San Francisco. Unfortunately, none of the Nordic startups made it to the final round.
The Startup World Cup final will be held this Friday, and these ten finalists will compete for a $1 million investment prize:
ivWatch, LLC (United States) – Specializes in medical devices for continuous IV monitoring, detecting infiltration early.
FinCom.Co (Israel) – Provides AI-driven solutions for financial compliance and anti-money laundering.
Galena Innovations (Canada) – Focuses on advanced material solutions for energy storage and battery technology.
Alternō (United States) – Offers renewable energy solutions focusing on decentralized energy systems.
Nanowear (United States) – Develops connected-care technology using nanosensors for healthcare monitoring.
HERALBONY (Japan) – A social impact startup promoting the work of artists with disabilities.
LearnExperts (Canada) – Provides AI-powered educational content management for corporate training.
EarthGrid PBC (United States) – Focuses on clean energy infrastructure, including underground tunnel construction for resilient energy grids.
PanopticAI (Singapore) – Specializes in AI-driven remote health monitoring via camera-based systems.
Carbon Reform (United States) – Develops carbon capture and air quality improvement technology for buildings.
This year, Swedish, Finnish, and Danish startups were in the semifinals.
The Startup World Cup is a global competition organized by Pegasus Tech Ventures, designed to support and promote entrepreneurship worldwide. It involves startups from over 70 regional competitions worldwide, all vying for a chance to advance to the Grand Finale in San Francisco.
