Carl-Magnus Hallberg, Managing Partner at EQT Digital, describes Salesforce's new AI agents as a pivotal moment for businesses. "We saw something revolutionary," Hallberg said after the launch of Agentforce at Dreamforce 2024 in San Francisco.
Carl-Magnus Hallberg believes AgentForce will genuinely transform how companies adopt and integrate AI technology.
"What we saw in the presentation this morning was truly mind-blowing. I had to return to the hotel to prepare our arguments—now it's moving fast. ," Hallberg says, reflecting on the speed of change sparked by Salesforce's new AI technology.
Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff introduced AgentForce during his keynote on the first day of Dreamforce 2024, describing it as a "co-pilot for professionals" designed to help with tasks like scheduling meetings, handling customer inquiries, and providing real-time recommendations. According to Salesforce, these AI agents will become a crucial part of daily workflows, automating tasks and allowing professionals to focus on more strategic work.
Hallberg seems to agree.
"This isn't just a concept anymore—it's becoming reality," he emphasizes.
According to him, the technology will allow EQT's portfolio companies to adopt AI without needing deep technical expertise. These AI agents, set to roll out in October, can operate across multiple business platforms, continuously learning and improving.
"The ability to seamlessly integrate agents into existing workflows will change how we work across industries."
Do all your portfolio companies use Salesforce?
"Many of them, which means we can now start working with AI in a new way without rebuilding everything from scratch. Previously, IT projects were much heavier, but now we have tools that are much more practical."
