With one month to go, CES 2025 is shaping up to be an influential platform for Nordic tech. Finnish TactoTek has already secured two CES Innovation Awards, and Martin Lundstedt, CEO of Volvo Group, will be one of five chosen keynote speakers.
TactoTek has already set the stage for a successful visit to Las Vegas.
“We are very excited to be honored with two CES Innovation Awards recognizing TactoTek’s achievements with IMSE technology,” said CEO Jussi Harvela, in a written statement.
TactoTek’s IMSE® platform integrates electronics directly into thin, smart surfaces, enabling innovative designs for automotive and consumer products. One award celebrates the IMSE platform itself, while the other recognizes an illuminated vehicle door panel featuring advanced lighting and sensors.
Volvo Group’s CEO Martin Lundstedt will take the main stage to present their vision for fossil-free transportation.
“We have the tools to drive sustainable mobility, but creating the right conditions is essential for society and the planet to fully benefit,” Martin Lundstedt said in a press release.
According to Volvo Group, Lundstedt’s keynote will focus on battery-electric vehicles, hydrogen fuel cells, and renewable biofuels as key components of their sustainability strategy.
The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) selects keynote speakers at CES based on their leadership in innovation, global relevance, and transformative ideas. Joining Lundstedt this year are Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA; Yuki Kusumi, CEO of Panasonic; Jennifer Witz, CEO of SiriusXM; and Julie Sweet, CEO of Accenture.
Swedish Neonode will showcase its zForce® holographic interaction technology, which allows touchless control of holograms, and its Driver Monitoring Systems, which aim to improve vehicle safety.
Norway’s poLight ASA will present its tunable optics technology, offering precise auto-focus imaging for augmented reality, healthcare, and consumer devices.
Other Nordic participants include Smart Eye from Sweden, which specializes in AI-powered driver monitoring systems, and Danish companies Panzer Glass and Frameo, which focus on screen protection and digital photo frame solutions.
CES, the world’s largest technology event, annually attracts over 4,500 exhibitors and 170,000 attendees from across the globe. The conference is known for offering a global platform for groundbreaking innovations and transformative ideas.
